‘Ashakiranam’ is a ray of hope for a bright future life. It is a campaign on the burden of disease Cancer. We train volunteers who are experts on the methods of preventing cancer. Ashakiranam takes initiatives on Good food habits, Organic and Natural farming, Physical exercise, etc. It creates awareness on General Public, organizes local volunteer groups to resist the disease, medical camps for focus groups, rehabilitate affected families and persons. Clubbed with financial and medical support for these, we receive resources from the people of good will.
Saphalyam is a housing scheme for poor families in the Palakkad District. In the first phase we constructed 25 houses with the financial aid from Syro Malabar Cultural Association (SMCA) Kuwait.
In the 2nd phase with collaboration of Save a Family Plan (SAFP) we construct 50 more houses on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee of SAFP and the Ruby Jubilee of PSSP.
PSSP MIGRANT SURAKSHA project was started in September 2014 in Malappuram District under the aegis of People’s Service Society, Palakkad. In Kerala, It is implementing by Kerala State Aids Control Society (KSACS). The main objective of the project is the welfare of the migrant community as a whole. This consists of conducting researches, surveys and identifying needs, providing health services and awareness, implementing different programs, events and schemes in convergence with government and nongovernment organizations, thereby enabling migrants to have a positive change in their life as well as in the society.
KSACS was formed to implement the National AIDS Control Programme (NACP) in Kerala state. It works under the National AIDS Control Organization (NACO) which is a part of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of the Government of India. The National AIDS Control Programme is fully funded by the Government of India and by international donors.
Community Development Worker
